Hello! In the beginning of March, we had a "Goodbye Glossy" sale as our way of saying farewell to the glossy sticker paper we've had for 9 years before we transition to our new amazing matte vinyl paper. The sticker paper that your planner stickers are on is super important! We've always loved our glossy paper, especially since we were one of the only shops with it, but we decided it was time to change things up. When you've been in business for so long and have hundreds of listings, it's easy to put off any major changes because it requires a big restart. Starting over is scary! But along with this paper change, we took the opportunity to make some other changes we've been wanting to do, like the format of our kits and pricing (spoiler alert - they're LOWER!). It's alot, so we put together this blog post to list them all out.
Sticker Paper
The biggest change is our new sticker paper. It is an amazing matte vinyl. One of the biggest "gripes" customers shared about our old paper is that they preferred matte. I know we can't please everyone, and that's ok, but this new matte paper is is just as vibrant and crisp, without the shiny look and feel. It is "permanent over time" meaning if you make an oopsie, you can peel it back up immediately after laying it down, but the longer it stays in that spot, the more permanent it becomes. It is waterproof and durable and works with with all the same pens you're used to using with our prior glossy paper.
Weekly Kit Formatting
Our kits now all come with 5 sheets, all vertical orientation. Most kits also have a character sheet (because that's what Pretty Sheepy is known for!) - some character sheets are small and some are the same size as the kit sheets if we have lots of character/deco stickers to share. But one thing hasn't changed...all sheets will always be available individually. We don't believe in limiting your creativity or planner-style, so you can always purchase any sheet on its own if that's all you need. Of course, buying the full kit will give you a discount, but you can decide based on what YOU know you will use/not use.
Monthly Kits
Our monthly kits now automatically come with a separate sheet that has all the months as a separate sticker. This will still allow you to use them for any month (as did our previous kits) but now you don't have to choose the month at the time of your order! Of course, kits for specific holidays or events may come with the month printed on it already, but for most of our kits that can be used throughout the year, you have more flexibility!
Sheet Sizing
Kit sheets are larger and we will now offer smaller sheet sizes to allow you to determine how much you need. With our larger sheets, we often had to add duplicate designs to fill space, which you may or may not have wanted. This way we can put just the right amount on each sheet, charge less and let you decide to purchase multiples if you want.
Pricing
All our sheet and kit prices are LOWER! Yes, you read that right. In an age where everything keeps costing more, we have kept our sticker sheets the same price for YEARS. Now that we are starting over with new machines and paper, we are taking the opportunity to pass our savings to you. Another big reason is that we intend on not having % off sales any longer. Sales are always stressful for me. I stress that my % isn't high enough because I see other shops doing these crazy % sales like every weekend. I can't do that. I was also noticing that you all would always be waiting for the next sale to place an order. You would LOVE our new releases but would let them sit in your carts until the next sale. You should be able to feel like you're getting the best and lowest price anytime and that you can purchase new releases as soon as you want them. We will have everyday low prices and our sales will now be "freebies with order" type sales. We may do something different for big days like Black Friday, but it will be rare.
"Magical" items only
We have always been conflicted on this. We want to offer anything our creativity dreams up, but we realize that most of you are here for the "magical" items. We have decided to keep Pretty Sheepy "magical" only and we will be opening a separate shop with non-"magical" items - like all that functional, decorative, awesomeness you need to fully round out your planning, as we know you want more than just "magical" stuff. We will gladly combine shipping if you place an order in both shops. This will allow us to truly amplify our "magical" offerings here. Speaking of...

This blog
I've always wanted to share our magical adventures and tips with you. After all, we live near the most Magical Place on Earth and go often! But because we were trying to be a "planner" shop and not necessarily a "magical" shop, we weren't sure if that was appropriate. But we held a poll asking you what you want and you said MORE MAGIC so we will be posting more here on the blog, sharing adventures on social media, etc. Even if you don't intend on placing an order, you can still come here to enjoy some magical entertainment.
